Travel Diary: Milan Window Shopping After Hours

blank

Hello from Milan! I arrived in the gloomy city around 4 p.m. m. after a long journey of 18 hours (scale included). I always feel cheerful and happy when I am back here. I was lucky enough to live a few blocks from the Duomo, where all the action happens 🙂

My first dinner in Milan was at Il Salumaio di Montenapoleone on Via Santo Spirito.

And while normally I would have savored every bite of the culatello and pasta I ordered, I had a really hard time enjoying it as I could barely keep my eyes open haha!

I had Paccheri con Burrata with a culatello plate but omg my body just wanted me to crawl into bed as I took every bite lol.

However, after dinner, I saw a complete change in me. Lol funny, because remember, all I silently asked for at dinner was my bed. The walk back to my place is actually quite “dead” during office hours (and when you’re not in a rush). Because the way back from the restaurant goes through many shops. I live so close to Quadrilatero della Moda – the triangle of fashion 😉

I went by so many stores (and thank goodness they were all closed). And while I fully recognize that there aren’t many bags that have caught my eye enough to buy lately, there are a few good ones that are worth gazing at 🙂

Givenchy’s latest Horizon bags in every color *looove!!!*

Miu Miu– I want your ballerinas! And it seems that there will be sizes in this store 🙂 I also really like this bag from Miu Miu (Borsa a Tracolla)… Although I don’t know why, but maybe because I like blingey things 🙂

Roger Vivier’s Miss Viv wall 😉 I think VR bags are underrated. I love the Miss Viv bags and the Pilgrim bags.

Dolce & Gabbana hard cases are very nice, but I won’t pay €5,000 for any of them. I appreciate its beauty, but its prices are too expensive!

There are plenty more bags to look at (like a kid looking at a candy store closed for the day), but the night was getting a bit chilly and oh yeah my phone battery died (PS I’m back in my Note 4 from Note 7 due to phone recall so my photos aren’t as sharp *sob*).

Today is a new day and I look forward to sharing a new adventure with all of you. Follow me on instagram: @thebaghag and also check my instagram stories or snapchat videos: The_baghag 🙂

I hope everyone is having a great day!
